so there are probably a million out there,
but I decided to do one either....
this is what I do without a ref picture, I do it a little differently with a reference photo at hand, but not so much different.
I do not try around with the grade of detail in the eyes when I have a photo, this time it was just too much and un-smooth for an eye so I had to make the extra step and smoothen it again
<<I smoothen the way that I go over it with the round soft brush again the way i like it, I havn't used any other tools than the two brushes shown at the side,
both with opacity set to pen pressure

I'm sorry

But,there are people being able to do fabulous things with only the mouse,
i never figured it out, but i just never had to because i bought a "cheap" second-hand tablet the minute i got my own pc.
If it's an issue of money I'd suggest get an older tablet that is affordable, I only replaced my intuos one because they didn't support tablets with seriel-connections any longer, I guess if they did I would still be using it, wacoms are nearly indestructible secondhands have no issues usually, also bamboos are great and affordable
