Description
I love all sorts of insects, green glimmering beetles like the dogbanes (Chrysochus auratus) especially, i had a photo-ref of a couple mating, she was really fat, their coloring and texture was special

it's really nothing of a photocopy, I used it roughly as reference, i would need to put a lot more effort & time into it in order to catch the texture, but I won't well at least not now.
Funny fact: there is another beetle in Europe looking EXACTLY alike; it's name is Gastrophysa viridula, don|t know the english name only the german, but I am quite sure it is something with leafbeetle in the end of the trivial name

the coloring is very nicely done. The only thing I could say about it is that the beetle and the stick don't match at all. It looks more like the background was added after finishing the bug instead of building it as the drawing progressed. Maybe adding a little shadow under the bug would help fit the illusion a little better.
But I think you did wonderful on the texture and highlights
maybe just try to get the stick to look more real to give the picture a stronger impact
